Advanced Diagnostic Tools
Comprehensive evaluation is critical in the diagnosis and treatment of the underlying balance health issues resulting in dizziness, vertigo, unsteadiness or serious balance disorders.
Balance issues may result from a peripheral vestibular disorder (a dysfunction of the balance organs of the inner ear), or central vestibular disorder (a dysfunction of one or more parts of the central nervous system that help process balance and spatial information).
Key technologies utilized in your diagnostic evaluation include:
- Computerized Dynamic Posturography
- Rotational Chair
The comprehensive testing at the Balance Center provides important diagnostic information to distinguish between the possible issues affecting balance. It also allows for differential diagnosis of common peripheral vestibular disease.
Your balance health assessment is provided in a comfortable outpatient setting close to home.
