Jenna Angelucci, MS Exercise Physiologist
Jenna earned her Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition from Sacred Heart University. She is a certified ACSM Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist, certified ACSM Health Fitness Specialist and obtained the Exercise is Medicine credential. Previously, she has worked at Griffin Hospital in Cardiac Rehabilitation. Although she primarily treats cardiac rehabilitation patients, Jenna is also responsible for the bariatric patients exercise training and anti-gravity Alter-G treadmill training. Jenna joined Northern Westchester Hospital in July 2015.
Michelle Gogolen, MS Exercise Physiologist
Michelle has an M.S. in Clinical Exercise Physiology from East Stroudsburg University. She previously interned at The Valley Hospital, Saint Luke's Hospital, and Lehigh Valley Hospital in Cardiac Rehabilitation. She began working as an Exercise Physiologist with NWHC in October 2015.
Amalia Pilano, MS Exercise Physiologist
Amalia earned her Master’s Degree in Theory and Methods of Preventive and Adaptive Physical Activities from University of Catania in Sicily, Italy. Amalia’s educational training included clinical exercise physiology, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and nutrition. Her extensive background in health and wellness started in Italy where she worked at Torre del Grifo Fitness and Rehabilitation Center as an Exercise Science Expertise, working with the elderly population who had an array of neurological, musculoskeletal and cardiopulmonary pathologies. Previously, she has worked at Englewood Hospital Medical Center in Cardiac Rehabilitation as well as at the Pulmonary Wellness & Rehabilitation Center in Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Amalia joined Northern Westchester Hospital in June 2017.
Pong Wong, Supervisor
Pong is the Supervisor of Cardiac Rehabilitation department with an extensive educational background. He received his Doctor of Medicine from China Medical University in Taichung,Taiwan in 1988 and a Master of Science degree from Department of Nutrition and Exercise Science, Queens College, City University of New York. Pong’s previous experience has been as an Exercise Physiologist, running programs at Northern Westchester Cardiac Rehabilitation and Westchester Health Associates Cardiac Rehabilitation. He joined Northern Westchester hospital in August 2010 as a Senior Exercise Physiologist in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department. Pong is an adjunct professor at Queens College in which he is responsible for the cardiac rehabilitation and electrocardiogram teaching of the graduate students.
